This show is not exactly called that but the real name would get caught by filtering systems and you could not buy a ticket for it. They still called it the real name when I was in line but they did not announce it out loud over the PA like when it was at the Motley Bauhaus last year. I had missed its run at the comedy festival as I was already seeing enough. This was meant to be the last time the show was meant to be performed in Melbourne and as I learned with MOTORBOAT last year the show would be much better after all those extra shows.

Quite possibly I could have not sat in the front row when I had less than 5hrs sleep, but where’s the fun in that? The one-time CUNT asked me something while standing on the seat next to me I pretended not to notice.

The word itself started to lose all meaning when they got the audience to yell it out so many times. I told someone about it and they said “I think I can manage it”. I have already seen other reviews talking about it being “like church” but to me going to see live music every Sunday for over 20 years that is like church. There is even a “Cunt’s prayer” at one point and I informed the artist afterwards that in the Albert Pyun cut of CYBORG there is already a prayer “Thy mother’s cunt” (I cannot find it for love nor money now!), and she was surprised!

The performer said to give away exactly what happened in the show so maybe there might be a return date or two in the future. Not really something you could explain unless you are there though. I can see why this show got audience favourite last year at Melbourne Fringe.

It is a great costume and the performer really does change their entire persona to get into the role. When they came out at the end without most of the costume on they seemed like a different person.

I would recommend this show with the usual caveats for not being for shrinking violets or people who are not fully into it. The performer will respect your wishes if you do not want to participate but will make fun of you for it.
